A combustible New Adult Romance recommended for mature readers.
There's no denying the heat between Jules Taylor and Foster Sutton. They are two wild souls with a fire burning inside. Together, they create a hot and dangerous mix of emotion and lust.
But after a terrible accident leaves one friend dead, Foster is bound by a secret that keeps him from getting closer to Jules. And he's left with only one thing to offer her - friendship.
For Jules, her relationship with Foster is getting old. Their occasional hook-ups are no longer enough, and Jules vows that this is her summer to forget Foster and find love. If it were only that easy. It seems fate is pushing Jules and Foster together at every turn. And it's only a matter of time before they give up and give in.
MORE is the highly anticipated companion story to BEFORE YOU GO. It can also be read as a stand-alone book.

I didn't exactly finish this one, but I did at least scan through to the end. I wanted to finish, but I hated the hero. He's selfish and manipulative. He and the h have been friends for years, and they both think they're in love with the other (but their actions don't really reflect that) He thinks the heroine is too good for him (she is) so he hooks up with numerous women, while still sometimes hooking up with the heroine. Nope. Also, he gets hot and heavy with the heroine, but decides he needs to put the breaks on things, so he calls her by his regular hookups name, so that she will stop what they're doing because he says he's too weak to stop on his own. Again, no. But, that's not even the worst part. The heroine leaves and in the same day, he hooks up with the girl whose name he called the heroine. The entire reason he thinks he isn't good enough for the heroine is because when they were just starting out, he cheated on her with his friend's girlfriend. Maybe it's just because I'm way over the man-whore trope, but I couldn't find anything to like about Foster. Yeah, the author tried to show us he's damaged and deep down he's a really good guy, but having him so openly hook up with OW kind of ruined that for me.I have no problem with the writing style or the graphic language (as I've seen others mention). For me this review basically comes down to I just didn't like the characters.
I am a huge fan of interconnected series, so I was hoping that this would be a new one for me. I have a weird habit of reading the second book in a series first, so I started with this one. I don't think I'll read any others in the series.

Has potential to be a good story but I felt like I was being told what happened and I felt confused about the how and why of certain scenarios. It felt more like a timeline being reported instead of a cohesive story.
This is not a bad read, but it wasn't that great either. The summary calls this a romantic comedy, but there were no comedic moments to me. Also the story is very, young adult. I'm 37. If I were 17 or 23, I may have enjoyed this more.
I really did enjoy this book. The characters had their issues and I felt like there wasn't enough back story. Granted, I have not read book one so I'm not sure if there are more details in that one or not. Both characters had things that they needed to figure out before they could be together and one secret needed to be put out in the open. They tried to make things work too quickly and it bit them in the butt. Overall, it was a cute story and Foster just sounded cute.
I probably should have read Noah and Tabby's story first, as interactions with Noah made me think he was a tool.
I loved Foster's character, imperfections and all, but was extremely frustrated with Jules. How was her stringing Jake and Noah along concurrently, in the present, not comparable to Foster having a one night stand with Jenna in 2007 (at a time when Foster and Jules were not in a full, committed relationship anyway)? And she has a full-blown public melt down over finding out about that now?!
I haven't decided if I will ready any more in this series yet, though. I may have to mull it over for a few days....
I'm really enjoying this series! I read Noah and Tabby's books first awhile back, and I don't know why I waited so long to read Foster and Jules story(palms forehead).
Reason being I love a friends to lovers story and Foster and Jules have been through so much together and their connection to one another is so deep.
They've loved each other since they met in high school but something tragic happened when they were in college and their relationship has never really recovered. They're at an odd point in their friendship right now. Sometimes they're friends with benefits but Jules is barely hanging on emotionally because she loves Foster and wants so much more than he's willing to give her. She's starting to realize she needs to move on with her love life if he doesn't feel the same about her. And from they way he acts she thinks she's alone in the love department. Or is she?
What Jules doesn't know is Foster is madly in love with her, but he can never let her know because he has a secret that if she ever found out would push her away from him. And being friends with Jules is better than not having her in his life at all. So he tries the best he can to keep thoughts of her being his out of his mind. Unsuccessfull as his attempts are. But things are about to change...
Foster and Jules story really pulls you in. They're both so in love with one another that you just want to yell at them to tell each other their feelings. Secret's and all, so they can finally be together! You really feel the connection between Foster and Jules through the whole book and their emotions are your emotions. I just can't say enough about their story. I highly recommend it!
